Laughing Preston footballer Brad Potts filmed taking a dump on car in sick video

Preston North End FC star Brad Potts has apologised after footage of him defecating and urinating on a car emerged.

The revolting video has been circulating on WhatsApp and happened years before the midfielder joined the Championship side.

It shows a laughing Potts, who turns 27 in July, crouching above the vehicle wearing a multi-coloured shirt, white trainers and shorts pulled down, DailyStarSport can reveal.

The English midfielder then defecates and urinates on the windscreen while a laughing pal films the clip, with Potts himself laughing as he carries out the act.

It is not known who the car belongs to, but a friend is heard saying: "As if you would do that on a car bonnet right now."

It was shot at night and appeared to have been during the summer season. The camera zooms into the player's private parts before zooming out again, before the footballer then jumps off the vehicle.

After DailyStarSport approached the football club for a response, a spokesperson confirmed it was Potts in the footage.

The player has apologised to the club for the "totally unacceptable" behaviour, and they have reminded him of player conduct expectations.

A Preston North End spokesperson said: "We have been made aware of a video of Brad Potts who is currently one of our players engaging in behaviour which is totally unacceptable.

"The incident took place some years ago before he signed for us, but nevertheless we unequivocally condemn the behaviour as shown in the video.

"We have spoken to Brad who is full of remorse and has apologised to the club and anyone else who has been affected by this incident.

"All of our players are expected to conduct themselves in an exemplary fashion and we will deal with the fallout from this internally. We will not be making any further comment.”

Potts joined Preston North End from Barnsley on January 3, 2019, and penned a three-and-a-half-year deal.

He featured 42 times in the 20/21 campaign, scoring five goals as PNE finished in 13th place.

According to fanzine site DeepdaleDigest, Potts was viewed by some fans as having a disappointing season and appeared to struggle for form and fitness.

This led to some to question his inclusion, although they add his work rate is often overlooked.

However, on the same site some fans praised some of his performances, particularly a 3-0 win over Middlesbrough at Deepdale Stadium in December.

Disgraceful behaviour.

What's wrong with him?
