I'm blocked from the Gazette site an so have had a look on the Transfermarkt site.
There are lots of players out of contract next summer although it isn't clear with of them has a 1 year option written in.
I'd expect a few signings in January to maintain some sort of continuity. | |

In the case of Husband I'd like to add that defensively he could step up to championship level but he wouldn't be able to provide the attacking width as part of a back 4.
However, if we're going to pay a back 3 and stick with it, I think he'd be able to play the role on the left side very well. Such a shame he's a bit on the small side, otherwise he'd be perfect. [Post edited 15 Nov 2019 13:32]

Got a feeling the other loan players will return to their clubs.

Sell :-
Tilt, Thompson (Mainly due to rumours of interest from other clubs)
Think I'd release the others, however not sure if all the one year options can be triggered by the club or also the player.

In building for the championship, and a sold championship club at that, those keeps would only be as backups Red.
It's possible that Guy could come on and be a valuable player but the others are back ups who could be considered to be taking up a squad place and taking money out of the budget. | |

Turton must be the unluckiest player I've seen in awhile. Solid performance almost every game, however he is the one to miss out when we go to a back three.
Nug Nugs is a goal machine.
Feeney is on fire
Guy looks better and better with every game.
Spearing I see in a "Club Captain" role as he gets closer to retirement
Howard, is Alnwick a better all round keeper? not for me.
If we clear out 12 - 15 players, we have to bring in the same number, we'll start the season with a team that are total strangers to each other, and we've seen what happens when that has happened in the past. | |
