Don't agree....he has had two average to poor games on the trot but based on everything up until then, i like him a lot. |

Can't blame Nardi for either of the goals. But i can blame him for the nervous defence in front of him...there's not much trust there. Needs sorting in January. And FFS stop the playing it out of defence, we are still as bad at it as we were at the beginning of the season. Small shout out to Dembele who caused trouble and created. Apart from another decent showing from Burrell, that's about it. |

Think Naama on Uxbridge Rd is Lebanese....the goddamn best falafels i've had outside the middle East and the platters and kebabs they serve up look sensational but i've never had them. When Covid hit, I emailed them saying that i was going to obviously watch the match on TV but we were all craving pre-match Naama falafals and if i drove up from Kingston to pick them up, could they sort me out. Answer was yes but only if i asked for the manager when i got there. Got there and 10 mins later produced a bag full of falafels and other bits and pieces including amazing baklava. 'From us to you...no charge please'. Amazing. But don't start going there please as i don't want to have to queue any longer than i do already. But you should. [Post edited 3 Nov 22:57]

Just had a look....there's scattered single tickets around half the ground all in good places...you'll be fine on atmosphere with all them (with my previous caveat). Make your decision on whether you prefer to be along the pitch or behind the goal. Have fun. |

Err unless you're a bot, it's not really like that. You've got your ticket for designated place (pretty much sold out i believe). What stand does it say on your ticket, the atmosphere should be good all over unless it's a clusterfck for the Rs (or in Spanish...cluthtafukio). |

Flashman books - particularly the first 4 or 5. And William Boyd - A Good Man In Africa. |

Thought he was ok for this division, which is faint praise but can't think the result was effected. |

Reckon i was about 20 seats or so to the right of that and a few rows down. Lush. |

Superb in Annie Hall and for sure one of the greats, but probably contreversially i didn't really like her character Fay or her acting in Godfather. |

But Crawley's 30s are ok for me....yes he gets out cheaply when he's finally got in but him and Duckett clearly like playing together and offer solid opening partnerships more often than not which is so important and we haven't had that for yonks. I've got no worries about our batting, but i'd def gamble on Bethel over Pope. |

Mitch Johnson coming out of a restaurant with his wife in the Rocks after day 1 or 2 to be greeted with 40 or so Barmy Army singing the 'he's bowls to the left' song. He utterly sheepish and eyes down, his wife absolutely screaming guttersnipe obscenities. It was perfect. |

V jealous. Been to 3 SCG tests....first was Jan 2011, one of the sporting highlights of my life and then the next two, among the worst. |
