Well, he didn't score the sixth last night. Must have hit the post.

All-Irelands 2024 Thread
at 09:10 23 Apr 2024

Kerry were the first:

First to have over 100 handpasses in a Final
First to have over 200, and
First to have over 300.

There's a move back towards more direct football, Sheener, might be worth checking back in to some teams - Tyrone, Galway, Dublin (sort of), Donegal (maybe).

Even some of the handpassing teams are trying to run the ball with more pace now.
Hope it lasts.

Hi Bannerman,

Yes, I do some coaching. You wouldn't want me as a ref! :)

Didn't watch Clare v Limerick, sorry. Heard about the two goals alright. Limerick getting the big decisions again.

Cork v Kerry was odd alright. Cork have been playing well recently and have often done well by sitting off and waiting for the turnover then counter-attacking for the goal. Didn't work on Saturday, especially when the clock was winding down, as you say. I'd like to see them push up in those instances, but maybe that would only bring a point?

Limerick showing weaknesses at the moment, just not sure there's another good team out there.

Dublin are evolving and may even be improving, but Donegal and Derry are serious teams with serious management. Mayo are also a serious team, just not sure about their management.

Again, we're all talking about next season.

We're not safe yet and we're not done yet.

Non-exchange bookies have us currently at an indcredibly wide range of 28/1 to 250/1.

There's no logic just yet.

Today was monumental, and I'll celebrate that.

But there's no way I'm celebrating survival yet.

P.S. Thanks for the summary. Genuinely appreciate that.

FA Cup Replays Scrapped

I used to listen secretly to Radio Luxembourg every night in bed, under the blankets.

I didn't have a radio either. Which made it harder to hear it.

My absolute favourite.

Like you, in the Loft, ended up down the front and gloriously soaked.

What. A. Fuggin'. Night!

What a cup campaign! No replays, my bollix.
