Great write-up as usual. I do think though that the main difference between Diakite and “Luke Young, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Armand Traore and others†was that without him, we wouldn’t have been close to staying up that year. Those others you list did nothing for our club....not positively anyway. |

Thanks for the report. We have beaten Boro, Ipswich, Leeds (albeit a weakened side) at home and Forest away, plus drawn with Villa without the players you mention. Luongo missing has heart us more but when you’re missing 2 of your main 3 midfielders, I think anyone would struggle. It’s also about like-for-like replacements, cousins and scowen seem to be decent replacements for the Cameron role but we only have Manning (maybe?) who can step into Luongo role. |
