Non-offensive show that has had millions poured into it.
This is because it's a top-watched show for the BBC and can also be sold around the world. Which BBC World always loves.

In addition, the extra dances they put on, which are not contestants' dances, are comparable to West End or Broadway shows in terms of production quality. Lights, choreography, moves, make-up, dance sets.

It has high-grade dance parts from musicals, on the cheap. So, if you cannot afford those shows (live far away, too expensive) and you like that stuff, then this is an easy win for them.

I dislike it as I am not into that sort of entertainment. Musicals and plays are not my thing. It is noticeable that it has a higher female audience than male. Same with soaps and un-reality TV.

As I recall, he signed and then got injured in some training session with them. Happened straight away, so really unlucky.

He's not a shirker so, I assume now hes fit he will be fighting for place. Good luck to him, not sure hes good enough for the Champ, but niether is Kendel and we got £3.5m for him :P

Kolli

Kolli is good player, can he become a Champ player?
Only way to find out is to play him. He should be on the subs bench.

Dembele refuses to run back, starting to look like this years boo boy, I bet Madsen will be happy about that.

Dembele is a number 10 in my view, hes the replacement for Burrell if he gets injured or loses form. Frey is Kone's replacement for the same reason.

The squad is strong now we have fit players back, LB is our big weakness and also GK now with Nardi's loss of form or being found out.

We need to sign a LB in the Jan window, even if it's on loan. Esq is not ready not even as a sub, Field will have to step if RND is not fit. As really we cannot rely on Field and Esq to back up RND who is not that great anyway.

Morrison had a mare against Ipswich so I suspect Mgs will be back in for him. Smyth will be back in for Vale, who also played poorly. Varane maybe in for Hayden as well.

Could be another slew of rotation changes for JS this week.

Stupid decision, as the World Cup is next year, and they won't have 2026 out by then.

I bet they do an update with it in, just in time for the WC or even worse, make you pay for it. I suspect that's their sneaky plan.

Celar / Madsen - Sliding Doors

Played deeper as a 6, JS has worked out that's the only position for him. He cannot be a 10 as he cannot back quick enough, whens hes a 6 and we build it up the pitch he can then contribute.

Also, as we have faster players like Burrell, he can hit a pass through from deeper positions (as he has always had the passing skill).

Those two, with the extra effort put into running around, have been the difference.

Can he sustain and also improve upon it? Or will he, like Varane, regress as the Champ chews him up?

Sheffield Wednesday gone into Admin this morning

If still in admin, they will have to sell players in Jan. Also, any buyer might as well sell in Jan and prepare for L1, as this will now happen.

Means we only need two clubs worse than us now.

Wasn't it that Gove only holds a season ticket to QPR as his son wanted to watch Chelsea, and he deemed it too expensive, so he took him to QPR instead?

Also, helps his PR saying he's a man of the people, you know, watching Football and not Rugger and all that.

I would guess that he's not really a fan, and it's all for his son. Fair enough.

We seem to have a few lefties, which is, of course, ironic considering our name!

Who misses out?
at 23:29 12 Oct 2025

Morgan will be dropped as Mbengue can cover RB as well.
Hayden covers the DMC.

Where was RND in the last game? Injured? Otherwise he will give Esquerdinha a go again or maybe Field at LB.

Smyth scored and Vale played well in the last match, so I would say Dembele, Saito on the bench and Poku in for Morgan and Chair is probably not ready yet. They wont risk JCS either until hes played many DS games and is fully recovered.

It may well mean Field misses out for Poku.

So the team could be:

P. Nardi
R. ND / Esquerdinha
S. Cook
L. Morrison
J. Dunne

H. Vale
N. Madsen
J. Varane
P. Smyth

R. Kone
R. Burrell

Subs:
B. Hamer
A. Mbengue
I. Hayden
K. Saito
K. Poku
K. Dembélé
M. Frey

Apart from Hamer, all of those subs could have got into our First team last year!
Astonishing!

It will never happen ... but lets say it did ...

That would leave lots of room for say a large football stadium.

The GOAT, and also with Messi around, he has proved he's the GOAT.

Should end his career by buying QPR and playing out the last season, taking them into the Prem.

Nice London club, owner of a Premier League team, straight into watching the games from the Airport, get a new stadium, and that's instant money forever and a massive legacy.

Simples.

Kolli up front in a two
at 21:03 8 Oct 2025

We shall need him soon as Winter is Coming.

He looks comfortable on the ball, and Kolli can get the odd goal now and again, and we need that in this Champ.

We loaned Llyod, and that was the correct decision. We don't know when Chair will be back, and if good, if Burrel gets injured, then we shall need him.

Keep him and play him some games, simples.

Didn't the Football Manager game continually advertise Watford in the screenshots?
Probably because the director or the game supports them.

How apt that the game sack managers often, and that they showcase Watford a lot in the game :P

Players With Wobbly Starts
at 13:24 6 Oct 2025

We found out later that Furs was playing injured when he first started playing for us and was carrying it for the first year. In addition, the rest of the team was not playing to his strengths and that took them time to catch on as well.

The Bard took time to adjust as he signed from Watford, where he played right midfield, so playing right back was new to him, and it took him some time to adjust defensively.

We'll see if Masden continues to improve. I hope he does, but I am not convinced.

Need all the points we can get right now, as Nov and Dec are brutal fixture months for us.

If we are top 6 by Jan 3rd, then okay, I may start to believe. But until then, it's still 16th for me.

Oxford Utd Reflection
at 10:05 3 Oct 2025

Oxford were there for the taking; everyone could see it. Even Sky commentators saw it.

We were poor as last season's game against them, but they were better, defensively only at least, which is why they didn't lose.

Dropping those players for a winnable game at home, for them to return from Brizzle away, really puts the manager under his own pressure. Even if we get a draw there, that's only 2 points from 2 games, when we could have had 3 here and then parked the bus Bristol, even if we lost that, that's 3 points from 2 games, so more points and home record looks intimidating for any opponent.

Field showed hes not gonna do it against weak oppo, Hayden the same , Dembele is an AMC (could have dropped one of the DMC's for him or Morgan and really tested Oxford) as I said before many times, Frey and Kone are too similar, Cook is still decent, Mbengue got a yellow so, he misses out anyway (should not have started him if you wanted to rotate as he was on yellow away from suspension).

I fear Julien has made a mistake and will learn the hard way here.
However, if we win, then he's the master tactician.

Saturday at 5pm will tell us what is what.

His best position is AMC, then RW and then LW.

Really, he's an AMC, so when Poku is back, it could get exciting.
