And if you wanted to be really, really, really cynical (would I ever do such a thing?) a contract expiry is a really good time to suddenly string together a run of games, form, fitness and arsedness that wasn't there before. |

As said last week though, even with all these recent improvements under Cifuentes (and he has, undoubtedly, improved I agree) he's scored one goal in 22 games, that against Rotherham at home. |

Willock, and dad, have been angling after the free transfer he's about to get for the last two and a half years. The money they were looking for in January when QPR tried to shift him was so laughably high even Hull baulked at it. Both of those things would need to change for him to stay here next season. Not impossible of course, but not likely based on everything said and done to this point. And I'm not sure I'd want him to anyway. |

He doesn't have a game at all this weekend. Seems to almost exclusively be on fourth official duty in the Prem these days - and he can't even do that very well, Eze laughing at him trying to use the board at Liverpool Palace last week. |

We were round a mate's for Sunday dinner. LFW group chat started going off as Cov came back so I made them stick it on, got massively into it, cheering them on, living room going mad, Coventry score a fourth unreal.

I think most QPR fans have been so caught up in whether we'll actually be in this league or not, the new Championship TV deal and what it does to next season's fixture list hasn't really sunk in but for the homer and awayers it's going to be absolutely fcking horrendous. Basically 'fine if we can't televise stuff at 3pm on a Saturday, we'll just move everything away from Saturday 3pm so we can'. For instance I believe every game on the opening day of next season is televised, which means none of them will be Saturday 3pm, and the 'opening day' is going to be spread across Thursday-Monday.
Premier League, as I said on another thread recently I used to watch all of it. Now very select. We have it on in the pub on Saturday, during the week not much at all. I didn't enjoy our most recent spells up there, but then we were sht. If we were Brighton, suddenly beating Ajax and going round Europe with QPR, then I'd be absolutely loving life. It's the VAR more than anything that turns me off it, I just think it's absolutely torching the whole sport. |

Lincoln are absolutely on fire. Made this left field appointment from Leeds' coaching staff and haven't looked back. That could be a great away trip, we haven't played there since the 60s. |

Look, we all know the situation on Friday.
I am, shall we say, intrigued, that having not had any such threads all year, we're now getting "oh I'm a Partizan Belgrade fan in town to watch Book of Mormon looking for something to do" or "I'm a Sunderland fan just here to have a woooorrrr great time lads".
Maybe genuine. Maybe not. I suspect not. All future Leeds ticket spares etc threads will be locked. If you're genuine, then I am sorry about that. If you're not, I hope West Brom/Norwich/Southampton/Anybody dick you over in the play-offs.

Nottingham Forest would do well to remember how they ended up in the Premier League in the first place. A play-off final scandalously refereed by a fat waste given the game as a retirement present that, instead of investigating and calling out for what it was, the (Forest supporting) learned football media framed as "the savage beauty of football, sorry about that Huddersfield or whatever your name is".
