Gypsy King vs Wilder II deserves it's own thread so there
at 09:40 23 Feb 2020

As with all these things, you hope he’s being well managed and advised, and we don’t read a heart wrenching story of exploitation further down the line.

For now...good on him!!

Hiyiz from Kaark, sheer wot a cont he is! And if I were the Kaark manager, I’d be feckin Dalling the phone to that Warburton bollix and tellin him to feck off altogether. Kaark were so shoite, we’d have done better if da’odder 10 feckin’ eejits had got sent off as well!

It finished Kaark nil, a bonch of feckin Jackeens six!

QPR Thanks Chris Kemp
at 05:52 22 Feb 2020

I used to drive with four chums to see the Rangers and one had to miss an FA Cup replay up at Luton back in 88 or 89 as I recall.

Our late and sadly missed mate Frankie, announced that he was bringing someone he knew as a replacement. Whereupon this fresh-faced pup appeared to claim his seat in the car, and I instantly christened Chris Kemp, the apprentice.

He started this madness a few weeks later and to this day, he’s still called the apprentice as he slowly learns his trade. He’s coming along well and maybe in another 700 games or so, we can look at maybe promoting him to junior supporter.

If Rangers are serious about funding free community facilities for a local council in return for scrub land, then make an offer elsewhere.

That area where the dry ski slope in Uxbridge has been laying idle for years: is that an option? In fact rolling west along the M40 I’m sure something exists?

As for the stadium: we’ve been moving out of Loftus Road for the last 40 years; and we’ll continue to do so for the next four decades as well. Let’s get one thing done at least, the training ground should be considerably easier than a stadium and is arguably more pressing.

On the day the government announce a strict points based immigration system, Mr Madiba’s tally has already put him 19 points ahead of Liverpool.

I don’t know how much a season in the Champions League is worth, but I’d say a run to the knock-out stages wouldn’t leave much shrapnel out of £25m.

Thus in reality, the monetary hit could be nearer £75m in real terms. The combination punch however, will be a desire of some of their squad to leave, equalled by a desire not to join.

If it sticks of course!

Unless you’re really into modern art, the Guggenheim was very poor in my view.

A former colleague of Mrs PH lives there and for the life of me I can’t recall the names of the restaurants we dined in, but they were muy bueno. But you’ll eat and drink well there.

Based on what little I’ve seen of him, I’d say if he did convert all his chances, he’d be at Barcelona!

If he converted just half, then he’d be at the Hammers.

He does neither, that’s why he’s at the Rangers.

Well said!

I’m not sure who the person is that started this thread, but given what they said I’d suggest s/he’s probably the type of person who, if greeted with comparable disparaging comments about the Welsh, would be crying like a baby.

All rather ironic given this is a site for an English football team as well!!

She’s an open minded gal, I think she will be cool with it.

To be fair, she’s been banging Tom Hardy since he was 19.

1-4 Rangers. Including a worldy from BOS and a ‘did he mean to cross it or did he go for goal’ conundrum from Kane.

Ridiculously stupid things said by and about QPR
at 12:17 8 Feb 2020

Some pearls from the Houston era:

1. ‘Get me Mike Sheron and I’ll get you out of this division!’ To be fair, we did get out of the division, just from the wrong exit point.

2. Despite a clutch of goals in trial games and a blinder at OT for Derby, Houston had decided not to sign Paulo Wanchope on the basis that he wasn’t what we were looking for and ‘Players like him are ten-a-penny on Hackney Marshes’. Before promptly spunking £2.5m on the bloke in point 1 who wasn’t as good as what Hackney Marshes throws up by the tenfold.
