After the sending off (which was a result of his direct running at Tate) with 10 men, he did a fantastic job on the left of the defence with no cover in front of him and really saw us through to the half time with our lead in tact when we were vulnerable. He continued to work hard and break forward throughout the game. If we had conceded before half time I think it would have been a different second half. Can't help but wonder what Adel would be like with his work rate .
Not trying to take anything away from Taarabt, he was truly fantastic although I believe it was much more of a team effort than the scoreline suggests. Helguson, Derry and Kenny all played very well and deserve a mention along with Taarabt and Walker. The rest of the squad was solid if not spectacular.
Since when was football played exclusively by women? Never see such a bunch of tarts before this world cup, making massive deals out of the slightest touch and whining about every decision. The poor ref's probably end each game thinking they've been sorting out a bitch fight in an office, not a sport played by men.
Come to think of it I'm probably being harsh on women even comparing them, these footballers are something else.
