And another model has come forward to accuse him of sexual assault today.

Someone, somewhere, is co-ordinating all of this very well. He will be fuming.

A period of media silence from Begbies would be very welcome.

I thought his confession that he did want a wet job done on Assad after all (when he had earlier fervently denied it) might have got more traction.

He's back to contradicting his health care professionals overnight about when the vaccine will be available. This after his fatuous comments about climate change and the fires raging on the West Coast earlier in the week.

One of the more interesting things I read recently was that his campaign contributions are falling a long way behind what Biden is raising. A case of people smelling failure, perhaps?

He may not have to wait much longer.

I know there is a lot of brinkmanship with these things, but I am fearful that they are going to fold. I have absolutely no confidence in the people who are in charge of affairs now.

I think Krasner should do more work and less burbling away on social media, personally.

He makes the people who ran our process look like models of rectitude.

And there you have it. COVID presents the EFL and Sky with the thin end of the wedge they have been looking for for several years now.

They've not helped themselves, that is for certain. But a blind man could see they had problems, an earlier intervention might have helped.

I think we need a regulation model that puts as much of a premium on mentoring and structured support to failing clubs, as it does on sanctions. It worked spectacularly in local government in England between 2001 and 2005.

It's supposed to be arriving here at bedtime tonight. And then we have five days of more or constant rain to look forward to.

Incidentally, for all your cricket fans, the forecast for Southampton is similar. The Test Match may not amount to much.

To be fair to them, Johnson's Press (or whoever the owners are) were supposed to be sorting out coverage.

But on a fair number of days they fielded no-one, or their stringer missed some of the proceedings. He even asked me if he could crib my notes on one occasion.

Eventually they got a nice lady who came up from Essex every day to cover things and she did a good job, particularly in the dog days of proceedings when we were backwards and forwards to court for all sorts of procedural stuff.

My point was, though, this was probably the biggest thing that had happened to Blackpool FC in decades. And the EG didn't sort something out themselves.

Not Grayling, but he is an ex-Cabinet Minister, ERG sympathiser and prize prannock, if it is who I think it is.

This from the paper that didn't actually send a representative to the court proceedings.

Well, if you are absolutely rubbish in the play-offs, it is one way of avoiding the issue.

I'd love Cardiff v Swansea in the final. They could turn the M4 into a battlefield for the weekend.

It is a desperately poor Division this season. All the bottom twelve or so are very, very ordinary.
