We've got an international break with several of first team squad on duty. Kone's Ivory Coast play Tuesday, so he will get back Wednesday afternoon, at the earliest.
Burrell's Jamaica play Wednesday (why?), so he will get back Thursday late afternoon, again.
Meanwhile Kolli (and Frey) have a relatively easy time, training and resting.
We go into another killer three game week with long trips on the Wednesday and Saturday.
We are going to need striker options, of the bench as a minimum.
I expect to see Kolli involved. Otherwise rumours of a vendetta against him will be severely enhanced. |

Well done Baz, it must have taken ages to sort that out.
I/we got there eventually but only after consulting squad lists for about half of them. I discovered a GK that I have no recollection of at all. Others I could visualise but just couldn't recall the names. |

Agree with that daveB. It's why the resignations at the top are correct and it's important that those at lower levels, who have facilitated these 'errors', are held to account as well.
It maybe that rather than one DG they have three of their 'chiefs' make policy decisions and corrections on a majority basis. |

I'd also prefer less spent on sport punditry and less analysis and more action, if possible contractually, or alternatively a shorter show. The BBC should employ cheaper new talent and encourage a churn of sports presenters.
News coverage should retain experienced analysts but only if they provide balanced views and reporting.
I'd prefer the funding to be from taxation, which means that every tax payer contributes to TV, national and local radio, web site, world services and apps.
Can't be many who never use any of these services. |

In a situation like yesterday's, I would rather have Bennie or Kolli replacing Kone than Frey. We weakened our ability to defend from the front and they found it easier to get in at our back line. Daniel or Rayan would have provided as a minimum, more pace and energy to press and harry as well as a threat to hit them on the break. |

Did a very good job, hard to find fault. Made a couple of good saves and generally commanded his area.
He got penalised for holding onto the ball early on, which seemed harsh watching on a stream. Said he didn't know the 6 second rule. It beggars belief that the goalkeeping coach has not mentioned this at any stage. He should do his homework too. Someone needs to brief him on the 8 second rule. |

I think the idea is to listen to other views, take them on board and sometimes modify, even if only slightly one's own opinion.

It's a manager interview that he has to do and find something to say in it. He'd probably prefer not to have to do it but that's not an option.
It's highly unlikely that anything new or original will be revealed and unlike him you, the viewer or listener, do have an option. |
