He spent three and a half seasons in the Belgian and Dutch first divisions before he came to QPR and has made nearly 100 appearances in Europe, so I'm not sure cultural adaptation is a big factor for him now.
The half season was with his parent club, who clearly don't fancy him.
I like him but not so far convinced he's better than a squad player. |

I'm not sure there's any great mystery. Cifuentes has done his due diligence in assessing all the players since his arrival - he even gave Taylor Richards a chance - and EDB has not shown why he should be a regular. |

Again, no manager is getting the sack for losing a cup game, but they are very likely to be sacked for getting relegated or even being in or near the relegation zone. And getting sacked or relegated looks terrible on your CV, whereas half the teams in the third round get knocked out straight away. For Champ sides trying to buck that trend by playing their strongest side will still likely get knocked out in the fourth or fifth round anyway. The risk/reward ratio just isn't there. |

This is a good example of how speculative numbers fill the information vacuum. Before you know it, Madsen earning 20k a week will be gospel for some people.
But again, we just don't know. Stuff leaks, sure, but there is still no way of knowing what's reliable and what's estimates, guesses, speculation or simply made up. If the club has decided to embargo contract details you can bet all the key people involved will have had to sign non-disclosure agreements. And then you have to ask who would leak information and why.
Bottom line for me is I'm not inclined to believe anything for which there is no reliable evidence. |

How do we know when no one on here knows the transfer fee, wages or length of contract or for any of the other new signings? |
