There were, I think, 3 bookings on Tuesday evening against Portsmouth.
This is where we stand and what will happen:
5 yellows before 19 league matches are played results in a 1 match ban. 10 yellows before 37 league matches are played results in a 2 match ban. 15 yellows before the last day of the normal league playing season (not including play offs) results in a 3 match ban. 20 yellows before the last day of the normal league playing season (not including play offs) - the ban is determined by a panel.
We've played 14 matches and so, to get past the first hurdle, the 2 players most at risk - Ekpiteta and Kaikai - have to get through the next 5 matches. Ekpiteta without getting another yellow, whereas Kaikai has a bit of wiggle room and can afford 1 more.
Unless a match is either postponed or abandoned, Sunderland away on 22nd December will be our 19th league match.

I found them by accident on the internet.
They are a recollection of more than thirty years of watching professional sport (lots of Blackpool F.C.) across Britain and Europe. The memories cover more than a thousand games of Football, Rugby League, Cricket, Ice Hockey and Rugby Union.
