We did give their fans the choice of not seeing much for £29 instead of paying the £37.We don’t get that choice.

It is me that used to walk from Oxford Circus to the ground, and we never lost many while I was doing it.But unfortunately the Guinness in the white horse has won the race instead.
I booked my trains 2 months ago thinking that it was going to be a 3pm ko,which means I get to Liverpool St at 11.43 and I was planning on walking from there instead because if I get in the pub by 12.30 I’ll sleep through the Preston game and Peter Kay at the O2 as well.
And I don’t remember us ever losing over the 5-6 times I’ve done the 7 miles from there.I guess I’d better get my walking boots on.

I’m not disputing that club’s cheating has cost other teams a chance of trophies, but Man City were charged by uefa a few years ago weren’t they? How can Madrid continually buy superstar players and get away with it?
Football is bent and broken at the top level and they might as well scrap it,or allow a free for all,and let the richest scoop all the trophies.

How are Real Madrid,Barcelona and PSG allowed to get away with breaking every financial rule going while some of our clubs get caned for doing the same thing?
How many times have Madrid sold their training ground for millions just to buy the latest superstar?

I’m glad about that as it will be a mad dash to get from hq to the O2 by 8pm to see Peter Kay.Hopefully we’ll be 3 or 4 nil up by 7pm so I can miss the high ho silver lining rendition at 7.15.

I doubt if many of their fans will be paying £37 for their seats in the same way that our fans don’t pay the same prices as Leeds fans will next Friday.

£40.50 with booking fee is a bit rich.No doubt we’ll sell them all though.

Leeds game tickets
at 09:08 16 Apr 2024

I was confusing the preston and leeds games with the lower loft tickets,so I made a mistake on that one,but it doesn’t alter the fact that we’re a long way short of selling out for both games.
I think that if it was a vital game for us to get into the playoffs rather than avoiding getting relegated,it would be a lot closer to a sell out than what it is now,but both games would be just as important to the club’s future.

That’s about right for the lower loft, but what about the upper loft? All the end blocks have big gaps in them with only 5 days to go.
It doesn’t help having two home games on consecutive weekends and both on live tv,but we should be getting closer to selling out than we currently are.

There are hundreds left for the upper loft too, maybe a couple of thousand. That’s without the vast spaces in the lower loft family stand and other areas of the ground.
The Leeds may well get close to a sell out,but I don’t think the Preston game will be anywhere near a full house.Considering how well our fans have turned out to watch us this season,it’ll be a shame if all you see on tv is rows of empty seats in one of our most important games in years.
And that’s without the season ticket holders who can’t/won’t turn up.

Looking at the amount of tickets unsold on the website for both vital home games,I’d say it was our fans that need to turn up rather than worry about the occasional day tripper.
I know both games are live on Sky,and money is tight, but I hope to see both games sold out rather than rows of empty seats that are there at the moment.

In the words of drunken Delia”Where are you?We need a 12th man here.Lets be having you.”

It’ll be a long 90 mins watching ssn in the White horse before the game, hoping and praying that the teams around us are losing,or at least not winning.

Yes I posted it before studying the league table for the 400th time today. But after being 5 points clear of Brum on Wednesday to possibly being behind them by 5pm next Saturday is just depressing.
