Sneak preview of Charlton programme

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League One game against Charlton Athletic.

The programme has been increased to 76 pages this season, but with the same number of advert pages as last year, meaning there is even more to keep you entertained before, during and after the match.

We start with a front cover image of Scott Wiseman, who made an impressive return to the team at Yeovil last Saturday after serving a three-match suspension.

As usual, there are the serious and not-so-serious articles, together with the usual high quality pictures from the Tranmere and Oldham games by photographer Daniel Youngs.

Keith Hill gives his thoughts on the team’s recent form and the trip to Spain, while we have an exclusive interview with former Dale and Charlton winger Mark Stuart.

A new style Dale Quiz has been compiled to test the grey matter and Scrutator is back with his views on English managers.

Traveller’s Tales reports on the trip to Dagenham, while there are in-depth previews of forthcoming home and away fixtures.

Of course, there are many new features, including The Day I Was Born, where we look back at which Dale player was born just as Kevin Keegan moved to Hamburg.

Visitors Charlton Athletic get nine pages of coverage, with My First Time reflecting on the teams’ FA Cup meeting at The Valley six years ago.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
