Former Blue Richard Wright has left Sheffield United by mutual consent. The ex-England keeper joined the Blades on a short-term deal in September, with his contract subsequently extended to the end of the season.

Wright, who was released by Town a year ago, made two starts while at Bramall Lane but was subbed due to injury on both occasions.
