Saints are looking to restore  pride at the Posh

Saints head to Peterborough looking to make amends for the debacle at home to Crystal Palace.

As the dust settles it was clear on Saturday that the problems all lay in the defensive side of things, in essence the midfield and attack did well, but at the back we were a disaster.

The problem is that George Burley has little options to change things, it is probable that Bart Bialkowski will be taken out of the firing line and replaced by Kelvin Davis, but along the back four the best that can be done is a quick re shuffle.

In the centre of defence Burley has no options whasoever other than to play Makin and Bennett again, in some respects that might not be a bad thing, they will either rise to the occasion and give hope for the future or it will show the manager that neither are options again.

At full back Burley could change things on either side, Jermaine Wright could replace Ostlund and Skacel, Vignall, although it has to be said that neither full backs could really be blamed for what happened.

But whichever side Saints put out they should be too strong for the Posh, however it will all come down to just how shell shocked we are after Saturday, in situations like this you find out just what spirit the players have and if they still have confidence and back the manager, a win puts us back on track for the season, a defeat shows that their is something drastically wrong with the management of the squad and would cast serious doubts over the future of George Burley.

Harsh maybe, but Saturday was not hard to predict, we were short on central defenders last season, after losing Baird six weeks ago, Burley has failed to bring in a suitable replacement and we are now paying the price.

Saints should win tonigh, but lets be honest Peterborough will be well aware of our weakness's and will do there best to exploit them.
