Fallon On His Way South......?

Fallon Happy To Stay - Rumours Say He Has Gone

Rory Fallon is a man in the middle. Kenny Jackett says he was staying, Rory Fallon says he was happy to 'go with the flow' but constant rumours around Swansea and Plymouth say that his next game will be for the Devon side.

It's been a hectic few days in Fallon-gate with the Evening Post 'exclusively' revealing Plymouth's interest two days after everyone was talking about it and 24 hours ago Kenny Jackett saying his man was going nowhere and he was more concerned with the treatment room.

Today, Fallon declares that he wants to play in the Championship and it appears that if the gravy train, or is that rumour mill, is to be believed he will get that chance sooner rather than later.

And I guess it's almost a fitting end to a turbulent 12 month Swansea City career which has seen him the target of abuse, criticism whilst fitting in 14 goals at a ratio of 1 in three and a half.

Speaking in tonight's Evening Post Fallon said "Who wouldn't want to go to the Championship?

"It's one division off the Premiership and I think anyone playing in League One or below would want to go there. "You always want to be playing Championship football. That's just human nature. "But at the moment I'm a Swansea player and that's all I'm thinking about. "I don't really know much about Plymouth's interest and as always I'm just going to go with the flow. That's the way I am."

Rumours suggested that Fallon was not at training today which added fuel to the comments that he was on the verge of signing for Argyle "Until the chairman or the manager tells me otherwise, I'm a Swansea player," Fallon added. "The manager says he doesn't want me to go and that's up to him. If he wants me to go I will go, but if he wants me to stay I'll carry on playing for Swansea. "I'm one of those players who just gets on with things. If the gaffer wants me to do something, I'll do it. "If the two clubs were to agree something then I would start thinking about it. That's the way these things work. "But until then it doesn't really matter to me. At the end of the day it's just talk at the moment, so I'm not going to get too excited about anything."

It could be an interesting couple of days transfer wise at the Liberty which could kick off tomorrow with the transfer of Rory Fallon to Plymouth
