Sousa Confirms Ligament Injury For Serran Thursday, 13th Aug 2009 16:25 Paulo Sousa has confirmed that Spanish defender Albert Serran has suffered a ligament injury in training The Swans boss confirmed to Real Radio that the former Espanyol centre half will go for a scan to discover the extent of the injury. He said that the injury looked 'bad' but didn't give an estimate as to how long it will keep Serran out for, and will wait for the results of the scan. The injury leaves the Swans with just two fit recognised central defenders in Garry Monk and Ashley Williams, who it has been confirmed didn't pick up an injury during Wales' 2-1 defeat out in Montenegro.
