A quick look at the Swans official ticketing website this evening tells you that we are now just 40 ticket sales away from a complete Liberty Stadium sell out for the opening Premier League clash at home this season.

Tickets are generally available on a single basis although the North lower does have a few together in pairs but we are closing in on a record crowd at the stadium thanks to some of the work done in adding a few extra seats over the summer that has taken the official capacity over 21,000 for the first time.

The first home game of any league season will always attract extra interest but with the Swans looking to build on the record breaking run of last season the very least we deserve is a sell out, maybe even more so given the performance of last weekend at Chelsea.

So the message to anyone who doesn't have a ticket and wants one is a simple one, there are tickets left but you have to get in there quick because as the old saying goes "once they are gone, they're gone"
