The U's 7-1 win at Norwich City has earned them the League Managers Association Performance of the Week award.

A panel comprising of Sir Alex Ferguson, Howard Wilkinson, George Burley, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry chose the U's for this week's award, and the presentation of the award, which Paul Lambert will be receiving, will be shown on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday this weekend.

The last time United received the award was following the 3-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on the opening day of the 2004/05 season.
