Tickle Tackle:

I'm not sure I know how but the Rams finally seem to be getting it together. We're now unbeaten in six games which included denting Barnsley and Swansea's 100% home records.

I'm also not sure I know what's made the difference but a month ago things weren't right and I (like many) wasn't sure whether the problem lay with Clough, the Board or elsewhere.

Either way, the Rams are now playing like a "proper" team and our hotch - potch of loanees are now showing what they can do.

It's suddenly fun being a Rams fan again... long may it continue!

People's thoughts are again turning to the possibility of reaching the playoffs or, heaven forbid, automatic promotion. Well, for my part, I think you have to go for it although I also think we're far from ready for the Premiership, should we actually achieve the unthinkable.

That situation would lead me to a bit of a quandary as I've rather fallen out of love with the Premiership and its undignified chase after money - football is, after all, about enjoyment surely?

I used to joke that Wolves fans had the perfect world. Every season they'd be vying for the playoffs only to fail gloriously at the last hurdle. They'd been able to enjoy a competitive season and could be pretty certain they could look forward to the same the season after. Then they went and spoiled it by actually succeeding in getting promoted and now are likely to only have a relegation battle to look forward to.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like I don't want us to get promoted - far from it, I just don't much like the current Premier League any more.

Football is all about enjoyment to me and I'm not sure I want to chase success at any cost like too many clubs have done once in the Premier League (and are now starting to pay the price).

The dichotomy is that of course, you want to be competing at the highest level and yet that highest level isn't really what you would like it to be.

Probably better that we just take things a step at a time, enjoy the current season and see what tomorrow brings. You never know, we might just find ourselves back in the Premier League at the perfect time – just as the big clubs financially implode.

Would you like to see us promoted as soon as possible or perhaps solidify and excel in the Championship first?
