I think we are being used as a training facility for players to move onto bigger better clubs once they become accustomed to this way of playing . Southampton are doomed to lower league for many years because as soon as a players start looking good they will be gone and then we will have to train another team up to that level of performance then they will go .
We will never have steady team now unless we do what we did before build up a team with middle of the road players with that put in 100% effort to work as a team similar to the Lambert, Hammond, Fonte, Fox, Sharp, Harding, K Davis, S Davis , Du Prado , Schniederlan, Chaplow era |

This guy is incredible was injured majority of last season , now see himself as too good to be here .
i hope saints hold out for the £30m they want for him otherwise let him rot in the under 21's he is not on big wages and get this ctr back lad from swansea in pay what ever they want along with mason holgate we will have some expierience . shame we didnt get Coady with stephens out we need a leader . |

i hope they pull something out the bag because Che does suffer alot of injuries was out 4 times last seasons about 1 month each time as last year showed towards the end he hardly played or perhaps didnt want too a bit a like ABK who was always looking to come off injured didnt really want to be here .
we missed out on the best strikers Goykeres, Piroe, Elliss simms, Hadji wright, these are what we needed to get us up. If Che stays he needs to sign the contract otherwise his heart wont be in it after christmas looking at the free transfer big pay day . |

Dynel Simeu , I really hope this guys gets a chance and looked at pre season as he has the physical ability to cope with english football which i am afraid Bednerek has never shown .
centre back options are now looking good : Salisu, Lyanco, Kotchup, Simeu not sure that bednerek and Stephens will stay but maybe one will ? possibly sell bednerek as his mind did seem elsewhere towards the end of last season . |

II too live 30 miles away and held a season ticket since 1992 but have been going to games since 1980. football has changed a great deal in that time . the main Reasons for not renewing are :
Games changing times and dates , Sundays, Friday nights , Monday nights all because of TV or people playing in europe never used to happen before the premier league if you played in europe you had to get on and play on saturday afternoon . The attendances are not exactly what they say as i see lots of empty seats at every game so i think alot of people will not renew there ST this year simply because of this .
Referee standards : constantly favour the bigger clubs with more money ( everton, Newcastle included) , its so obvious its embarassing thats why there was no english referees at the last world cup.
Management Basics : Southampton for 3 years now seem incapable of scoring goals despite creating alott of chances in games ( INGS the 1 exception) , Cannot defend and have the worse defensive record for the past 3 seasons. that i can rememeber.
VAR: Now used to decide the results of games usually in favour of the big clubs because its being run by referees who are are crooked or told to make sure results happen the way the premier league want.
I like Ralph as a person but his ability to motivate and energise players does not exist. anymore it did when he first came in and some of his team selections are very strange , for instance in the last 12 games choosing players that are out of contract and not selecting players that he brought ??? |

Cornet, Mee, Tarkowski would all get in ahead of the current crop , Getting on now but Cork is years ahead of diallo would also go for Nick Pope . How did this team go down ? i suppose cornet was at african nations and i think mee and tarkowski have been injured at times but still better than what we have . |

agreed last nights team :
Tella ( 23 now never gonna make it at this level ) 1 career goal
Broja ( on loan going back to chelsea wont be coming back)
ward prowse ( lucky to keep him this summer ?)
diallo ( waste of space too ligt weight gives the ball away)
redmond ( too little too late again first goal of the season )
elynoussi ( crop circle man does nothing and makes up numbers)
walker peters ( AKA JWP lucky to keep him this year one of only 2/3 prem players
Salisu ( heads gone since january transfer talk has turned him )
Stephenson ( out of contract now why play him now ???)
Lyanco ( only centre back xto put in a shift last night)
Mcaarthy ( daydreamer i hope to god he hasnt got a new contract)
would only keep 3 players out of this team JWP/KWP and Lyanco the rest are gash and squad players at best .
Ralph Hasneclue really needs to buck up or ship out . |
