Meet The Ref - Blackpool

Saturday's referee is Scottish referee Scott Mathieson from Cheshire, he is a very experienced referee and has been refereeing since 1997; He was the referee in the infamous Hull game where the Swans stayed in Division 3 on the last game of the season.

He kindly awarded us two penalties in that game which Swansea won 4-2. Mr Mathieson averages just 2.4 Yellow cards per game this season. He has refereed us once already this season, in the season opening home defeat to Cheltenham.
