Saints have drawn up plans for a state of the art complex at Staplewood.

Saints are ready to turn Staplewood into one of the most modern training complexes in UK football judging by plans that are being put in place to be submitted to New Forest District Council.

The training complex on the edge of the City at Marchwood is already seen as being one of the better facilities in the league, indeed Saints were one of the first top flight clubs, back in the early 90's to invest in proper training ground facilities, rather than just train at a hired venue, as Pompey do at our former training locaation in Stoneham Lane.

These plans show the ambitions the clubs new owner has and should excite all Saints supporter as the club looks to restore itself to its former glory, what saw Saints in good sstead in all the years in the top flight was that the foundations were built off the pitch as well as on it, its good to see that the new regime recognise that.
