Refwatch: Dale v Wigan
Monday, 9th Apr 2018 10:00 by TVOS

County Durham referee David Webb is the man in the middle for Dale’s home game versus Wigan on Tuesday.

Mr Webb has been a regular at our games since joining the National List in 2008 and this will be his 15th Dale appointment in total.

We last saw him in September at Blackpool where a fairly mundane midweek match finished goalless.

His most recent appearance at the Crown Oil Arena was on the opening day of last season, when a late Josh Lillis slip allowed Peterborough to clinch a 3-2 victory.

Other notable Dale games overseen by Mr Webb are the 2-0 FA Cup win at Barrow in January 2017 and the excellent 2-2 home draw with Brighton in April 2011.

The full list of David’s Dale matches is:

Oct 08 Rochdale v Dagenham L 0-2

Apr 10 Hereford v Rochdale L 1-2

Apr 11 Rochdale v Brighton D 2-2

Oct 11 Rochdale v Colchester D 2-2

Mar 12 Huddersfield v Rochdale D 2-2

Sep 12 Rochdale v Barnet W 2-0

Sep 13 Rochdale v Wycombe W 3-2

May 15 Barnsley v Rochdale L 0-5

Aug 15 Rochdale v Walsall L 1-2

Dec 15 Swindon v Rochdale L 1-2

Aug 16 Rochdale v Peterborough L 2-3

Jan 17 Barrow v Rochdale (FAC) W 2-0

Mar 17 Scunthorpe v Rochdale L 1-2

Sep 17 Blackpool v Rochdale D 0-0

David has refereed 37 games this term, showing 81 yellow cards and two red. Most of his appointments have been in League One and League Two, but he has also taken charge of four matches in the Championship, the most recent being Middlesbrough v Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
