Two fund raising games have been organised in support of former Dale midfielder Ernie Cooksey who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

The first game will be of interest to many of the Southern based Dale supporters. It will be a game between Ernie's current side Grays Athletic and an All Star XI.

In the All Star XI will feature Matt LeTissier, Neil Ruddock, Jason Cundy, Paul Merson, Ian Dowie plus many others. That game will take place on Sunday 27th April with a 3pm kick off.

The second game will be easier for Dale supporters to attend, as it takes place at Oldham Athletic's Boundary Park. It is a game featuring current Oldham boss John Sheridan who is putting a side together to take on a combined Dale / Oldham XI.

That game will take place on Sunday 11th May with a 2pm kick off.
