The pressure Roy Keane must be feeling will go up a notch when he reads what former Ipswich Legends are saying about the televised clash at Carrow Road on Sunday (BBC1 1pm).
Norwich fans will remember Aex Mathie for all the wrong reasons, after he scored a hat trick in the 5-0 defeat at Portman Road back in February of 1998.
Mathie is reported in the East Anglain Daily Times as saying that Roy Keane should play two strikers up front.
It does seem that Keane has gone all defensive by playing a 4-1-4-1 formation. If he sticks to that, it will be difficult for Norwich to break through, but it only needs the once and it will turn the heat up under Ipswich supporters.
They are already simmering over the way that Ipswich have approached their games since Keane came in with the big money and big talk behind him.
Paul Lambert will have told the players who they must watch out for and probably leave it at that. Yes, this is the derby, but they will try their best to appraoch it just like any other game. And City hasn't fared too badly so far.
It is nice to read that Norwich City already has the advantage. Nobody at Carrow Road is worried about their jobs and can enjoy this game knowing they can do little wrong in the eyes of over 20000 on-lookers.
Ipswich, on the other hand, have a manager who is well known for his fiery approach, and the players will be in fear of reproach from the gaffer. That is worth a goal in itself.
Things will get worse if they go in at the interval trailing. Flying football boots comes to mind.
