Rumours that Nathan Dyer is going to sign for Pompey are only partially true, he is only going to have a trial there.
With matter being heard in Portsmouth magistrates court on July 8th it is difficult to comment very much on the case, however im sure that we all know the story leading up to Nathan Dyer and Bradley Wright Phillips being charged with burlgary at Portsmouth Police station.
The situation is that the duo will surrender bail at Portsmouth magistrates court on July 8th, then the Crown Prosecution Service will decide to either proceed with the case or drop it, assuming that they proceed, both will then as I understand it elect to be tried either at the magistrates court or at Crown Court and a trial date will be set, that is if they are going to plead not guilty.
As I have said the laws of the land make it impossible for me to give any opinion as to the merits of their guilt or innocence.
