The U's will travel to The Valley to play Charlton Athletic in the First Round of the League Cup. The fixture will be played week commencing 11th August, after the first league game of the season.
It'll be the third time the two clubs have faced each other in the competition; they previously played two legs in the 1978/79 season, with the Addicks winning 3-2 on aggregate.
The match is the first of the 2014/15 campaign to be known, but there's not much longer to wait for the rest, with the full league fixture list being released tomorrow morning at 9am.
