Out-of-contract U's keeper Mark Cousins has been linked with a move to Dagenham & Redbridge.
The 27-year-old has been offered a new deal at United Way as understudy to Sam Walker, but has yet to agree new terms, and will become a free agent at the end of the month. He would no doubt get first team football should he decide to drop down to League Two as Dagenham are currently without a number one after releasing first choice keeper Chris Lewington at the end of last season.
Cousins has made 70 appearances (67 starts/3 subs) for the U's since breaking through from the youth team and making his debut in 2007.
