United have won their second pre-season friendly this evening, thrashing Heybridge Swifts 8-0, with goals from Freddie Sears (2), George Moncur, David Wright, Gavin Massey, Dom Vose and Jabo Ibehre (2).
As with the friendly at Brantham, the U's fielded two different teams for each half.
First half - Walker, Clohessy, Okuonghae, Kent, Gordon, David Wright, Moncur, Drey Wright, Sears, Watt, Holman.
Second half - Lewington, O'Donoghue, Thompson, Eastman, Olufemi, Eastmond, Gilbey, Szmodics, Massey, Vose, Ibehre.
The under 21s also won their friendly tonight, beating Brantham Athletic 4-1.
