Bafetimbi Gomis' third goal of the season was enough to win him the Planet Swans man of the match award against Sunderland as the Swans continued their unbeaten start to the season.
Gomis struck in the third minute of first half stoppage time the better to give the Swans the lead and he was unlucky not to grab a second towards the end of the game as he was denied by a class save from Pantillimon after a point blank header.
Gomis award followed two in a row for Jefferson Montero and leaves him in 3rd place in the player of the year running behind Montero and Andre Ayew.
