Goal scoring records. 20:39 - Jan 21 with 645 viewsbwildered

Bobby Charlton's just gone , cannot believe U's goal scoring record ever now being beaten . The Rooster got very close, but surely no player would be at the club over a long enough period of time for this record now to be beaten , and any player with a goal scoring prowess would certainly be sold long before .

To score that quantity of goals a player In has to be a regular goal scorer at the club without attracting attention from bigger clubs for around seven seasons .

With TV and media it will never happen, unless we have a player so loyal that he wants to live forever in Colchester and drink at some great pubs.

I do. And that is after enjoying 13 years of this Town's delights (n.b. after previously living in Kidderminster, Redditch, Erdington; Chelmsford; Flitwick; Milton Keynes; Horsham; Kendal; Bristol: Portishead; Greenwich).

Colchester is THE best place I have ever lived despite all the moans of the indigenous population. No wonder the Romans settled here.

What have the Romans ever done for us?

Also I cannot see any one scoring 39 goals in one season like Bobby Hunt did for us.
What a few years the Hunt/King partnership was and what would they be worth today?
