Might have been nice to get LR echoing to the dirge-like chant on Saturday? Or is he persona non grata these days? - e.g. his 'snivelling whingers' tweet or the Joey Barton Twitter spat?

I'm not up to speed with his current relationship with the club or its fans so maybe someone could enlighten me.

Apologise if Spackman, but I couldn't find any reference.

I remember when we beat Man City 4-1 or 4-0 back in the 91/92 season
Marsh was a guest of the club and sitting in the directors box and for the last 10 minutes of the game the chanting of Rod Neeee , Rod neeee was echoing around the ground

the old man & my nan were big fans of Rodney I was brought up on tales of him and the monk like chant of his name , such a shame he wasn't there on Saturday he deserves the adulation a real QPR legend

He's going to be contributing to the match programme for the rest of the season - so must be on good terms.

Wish I could be like David Watts

There was a brief cover version Tuesday night after his amazing 100 yard dash and off-the-line clearance.

Reading his biography Loose Cannon at the moment, which I picked up for free at the club shop and he speaks warmly about his time with us. It also provides an interesting insight into Gerry Francis' exit from the club.

He claims that Richard Thompson offered him the job before Gerry left and immediately rescinded the job offer once Gerry handed in his resignation. Rodney also says that he convinced Thompson that they had a verbal contract, which he recorded during a telephone call resulting in a payment of three months salary. In the book, Rodney revealed that he actually didn't record the conversation...

He should be remembered as a great player for the club who has fondness for us, but not a lot of inclination to come and visit,,,

Money, money, money - we're not really like Chelscum, are we?

I've never forgiven him for the 'heading for the conference' comments. It gave every non-QPR fan a free shot at us.
