Notice that former U's centre forward Les Mutrie has passed away, due to cancer. Only played for us briefly, but you could see why he had a good scoring recorded at his previous club Hull City .

Recall that he had a goal for us chalked off somewhere as, between him taking the shot and the ball hitting the back of the net, the ref blew for full time.

Don't think I ever saw him play for the U's, but always sad to hear of the passing of anyone who wore the blue and white - RIP Les
