Week 25 Results BARNSLEY 1 FULHAM 3 Fulham score twice in added time to beat 10-man Barnsley. Everybody predicted a win for Fulham with just 2 getting it spot-on. There was a massive 11 who predicted them to win 2-1, in what was the weeks most predicted result. BRENTFORD 0 NORWICH 1 Brentford's 13-game unbeaten home run comes to an end. Well done to durham_exile for being the only one to have this spot-on, and 5 more got the outcome. IPSWICH 0 WOLVES 1 Wolves moved 12 points clear at the top of the Championship with this victory. There were 3 who got this spot-on, with a further 14 having the outcome. BRADFORD CITY 0 AFC WIMBLEDON 4 Bradford crash to their fifth consecutive defeat in all competitions. Not surprisingly nobody had this spot-on, and only medicine_man got the outcome. GILLINGHAM 2 FLEETWOOD 1 A 91st minute minute penalty gives Gillingham their fourth successive win. That was good news for the 7 who got this spot-on, and another 9 had the outcome. PORTSMOUTH 0 SHREWSBURY 1 James Bolton's first goal for Shrewsbury sealed victory at Portsmouth and lifted them up to second in the League One table. Well done to Blue4U2 for being the only one to have this spot-on, and 4 more got the outcome. WIGAN v OXFORD UTD POSTPONED CHESTERFIELD 0 STEVENAGE 1 Chesterfield's hopes of three wins in a row for the first time since 2015 were ended by a goalkeeping blunder which gifted Stevenage victory. There were 3 who got this spot-on, and another 4 had the outcome. CRAWLEY 2 ACCRINGTON 1 Crawley clinched their fifth win in six games with two first-half goals. Just the 2 had this spot-on, and 4 got the outcome. PORT VALE 2 COLCHESTER 2 Port Vale twice came from behind courtesy of Dave Worrall to earn a well-deserved draw, as the U's fail to see a game out again. Nobody got this spot-on, but 4 did have the outcome. First of all apologies for the Wigan v Oxford Utd game not being played because of Wigan still being in the FA Cup. The BBC website said the game was still being played today, when I posted the fixtures last Saturday, even though Wigan had won a Cup replay three days earlier. Week 26 will now be an eight game week, to make up for the two lost fixtures over the last two weeks. The nine games that did take place looked like giving us a disastrous week, well it was for me anyhow, until the late winners for Fulham and Gillingham put some sort of respectability to proceedings. In the end we had nineteen 3 pointers, with three members getting two each, they were thrillseeker who got 3 points for the Wolves 1-0 and the Crawley 2-1, mfb_cufc and medicine_man who both benefited from those late wins for Fulham and Gillingham. All three also had one outcome to give them a decent 7 points. In an unprecedented week that was only enough to give them a one seventh stake in being the weeks top scorer, as those 7 points were also obtained by burnsieespana, RSCOSWORTH, sevebalo, and eagledares. In the Premier After two weeks of leading by virtue of the most 3 pointer rule, thrillseeker finally gets to lead without the help of the tie-breaker, though it is only by a point, as noah4x4 has the Wolves 1-0 spot-on to keep him in touch. A decent week for RSCOSWORTH keeps his hopes of making the Charity Shield alive, but his best chance of winning anything this season lies with the Happy Cup, where he has made the semi-finals. In a week where half the league scored 7 points, there were no positional changes, but nine weeks without a 3 pointer has given Sector4 a mountain to climb now if he is to avoid being relegated. In Division One The lead changes hands again with durham_exile taking over at the top for the first time this season. By making the Happy Cup semi-finals as well, it helps to soften the blow of his beloved U's faltering. Five outcomes were enough for BFG to reclaim the other automatic spot he lost last week. Just a one week stay at the top for TheHappyGooner, but they remain well in contention, and a Happy Cup semi-final appearance keeps their good season going. Five weeks without a 3 pointer for gerry_us, but he still has every chance of making the automatics, thanks to having more outcomes than anybody in this league. It is also five weeks without a 3 pointer for concordman and six for Daniel, and even though both still have the automatics in their sights, their immediate concern will be staying in the play-off spots, as the sustained run of form from eagledares has moved him to within two points of the play-offs. With still over a third of the season to go basher2010 and Pinault_Noir are no forlorn hopes of making the play-offs. At the bottom medicine_man enhances his chances of avoiding the wooden spoon in his first season as he shows the kind of form that has got him into the Happy Cup semi-finals. THE TABLES (180 out of 280 played) (Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post) Week 26 Fixtures This is an eight game week to make up for the two lost fixtures over the past two weeks.
