Rotherham and Millwall both won tonight which means our friends up the road are now 13 points off safety with 9 games left. Just 2.22 points per game required to reach the points total that saved Bolton last season. Time for Paul “even worse than Hurst” Lambert to stop messing about I reckon.

Very welcome reading indeed - so the Farmers now have to find not just escape from relegation form, not even play-off form, or even automatic promotion form, but actually better than winning the league form!

Still 13 points adrift and now 2.375 points per game required. We May not be joining them in League 1 but Southend are doing their best to join us in League 2.
We may miss out on playing them in the League next season, but we should get two games in the Checkaturd trophy against them. If that happens it will be interesting to see what sort of crowd we get for that considering the apathy towards that competition.
