Another inspiring signing?

Suppose it's cover for when Jacko leaves in the summer?

Is this not the player Southend were after but unable to sign because of the transfer embargo due to not paying HMRC?
Highly thought of by Sol Campbell.
Could be a really good one for us and at least he will get paid!

What a potentially good signing. Quick, two feet, hungry to get back having suffered at Macclesfield.

Seems a bit of an odd one but Jackson’s not been great recently and a bit of competition for places is normally a good thing.

Poll: How many polls will Leadbelly do this season?

Maybe Jackson has said he is off at end of his contract.
Without doubt we need more cover at the back and this lad along with another, as I understand could leave Macclesfield as had not been paid so contract nul and void plus they needed to reduce outgoings.
He and whoever the other player was, I understand, were lined up to sign for Southend in January until they had the embargo slapped on them.

Southend Echo reporting today Southend need to pay HMRC £600,000 before the embargo can be listed so did not try to sign Miles.
Sol says a good player but as he can't yet get the other two players over the line because of the embargo no point in trying to sign a third, ie Miles.
Talk about from the frying pan into the fire for the other two.
Do seriously wonder about SFC future.
