Today's Ref 20:45 - Mar 7 with 861 viewsTimSaint

Heard on Solent during the drive home after the game, that today's ref used to run a business in Portsmouth.
Don't know how true it is but it may explain some of his decisions today !!

VAR made all the big decisions today, he only gave Djenepo a yellow and didn’t give a penalty

TUIs only reliable source of ITk news. #bewareoffalseprophets

It wasn't necessarily the big decisions I was on about. The bigger decisions that have an impact on the game always go to VAR anyway. We only got a handful of free kicks in the first half - despite Long repeatedly being climbed on, pushed - and even kicked out at right in front of the linesman, near the end of the first half. There were a few hand balls that could have gone our way as well - including in the build up to the triple wonder save (Niemi MkII).
Also anyone get a good view of that slide in on Bert that resulted in the Newcastle player getting a yellow ? Our players seem certain it was worth a look on the TV Screen, but the ref declined.

Someone sent in a text that they read out on Solent, stating that he ran a business in Skateland.

Seen reds given for similar for the slide on Bertrand, but not 100% a red as much as we needed it to be.
