I think Paul Murray and Lee Camp played for the under 21's as well, I think Camp played in that first game at the new Wembley. I went to that game maybe Blackstock played as well but might have imagined that

Murray and Blackstock are definites based on the age and dates of caps. I've added Camp because even though i can't find any written proof that he played U-21 after joining us i think you're right based on memory. Maybe someone can confirm?

Marcus Bean played for U21s didn’t he?

Pretty sure he was at QPR this season, wasn't this the Di Canio one?

Yes, you're right - he was with us for that game. On loan, but it counts.

After he left us, definitely.

His wiki page has him down for four England Under-21 caps as well. But no date. He was born in '78 and left us in '98, so hard to know from that.

This site gives Quashie's England U-21 appearances Brian.

He played four times between May 1997 and March 1998.

Chris Woods
Kenny Sansom
Derek Statham
Bryan Robson
Terry Butcher
Kevin Reeves
Gordon Cowans
Luther Blissett
Graham Rix
Cyrille Regis
Coach: Dave Sexton
Described as “highly inexperienced” it was the last Under 21 side where all of them became full internationals. Glenn Hoddle was dropped!

Chris Woods was also the last of those to make his full debut as well, in 1985.

Rix famously went on to be involved with the U18s too.
