Having our first game before most of the others seems to give us a slight advantage for our next few fixtures. Compared to our opponents, we have an extra day or more to prepare for 3 of our next 4 games..
The biggest advantage is v Man City, who have to play Liverpool just before they face us. Brighton are the only opponent who'll have more time to prepare than us.
Man United, Man City and Sheffield United could also have to face FA Cup semi-finals and possibly even a final.
With so many games crammed into such a short period, those extra days to recover and prepare could really matter. I'd be surprised if we have to face a full-strength Man City team.
