Jacko goes to Gill, but is it downhill for the U’s? 18:28 - Jul 31 with 827 viewsnoah4x4

Ryan Jackson rejoins Gillingham.

Suspect he wanted more wages and a step up the divisions.

Who can blame him.

A case of back to where you once belong .Took advantage of performing well in the play off shop window. A lucky man if increased wage budget in this current climate, but good luck with Steve Evans being your boss .

Did we have enough strength in dept in the squad last season, or can SB implement the newbies into the Colchester Four, has doubtful no war chest is available, a condition on his appointment.

Poll: No half measure either 1 or 2 ?

Jackson has been, with Eastman, the most consistent performer in my time following the club these past two seasons. He wasn't electric this season but was ever dependable and solid. I feel he's more than earned his rise to a League One club. All the best to Jacko, he'll be missed.

Jackson going up a league just shows the caliber of the players we had and the failure to deliver promotion with them.
