Is the strong favourite to be the next Swindon manager. Ironically Paul Tisdale is clear second favourite for the job.

Based on what Swindon fans are saying this would not be the right job for JMcG who since leaving us has always maintained the job as to be right.
Have seen Swindon fans predicting administration in the summer as a real possibility.

In the current climate I think Swindon would be a bad move for McGreal as off field they are in a mess

Has now been confirmed. On a two-year contract.

Good luck JM (but not against us).

It will be interesting to see what he can achieve without TH in the background.

If these stories about Swindon's plight are true it will be a monumental challenge.

Most on The Townend seem quite happy with the appointment - as you say, they're more worried about other matters off the pitch.

Good luck to John, hope it works out for him.

Has left Swindon, a month into the job. Proved to be the strange appointment after all.

Interesting article and would not be surprised if there are more clubs close to extinction. I have no feelings at all for dirty old Swindon only the players involved.
