Penalty Shootouts 15:29 - Nov 10 with 555 viewsRSCOSWORTH

Obviously in recent years we've won some big ones, against Crystal Palace and Tottenham, but overall I feel like our record in penalty shootouts is underwhelming to say the least. Losing one in a Wembley final hurt a lot and we've also lost to Southend, Ipswich and possibly Wycombe, or maybe we won that one, on penalties which is painful. Anyone have the facts and figures around Col U and penalty shootouts?

Interesting stats. I always felt our penalty shoot-out performance was probably on the poor side of average, and this confirms it. Interesting though that for the most part we've won the ones that really count - West Brom in the Watney Cup final, Palace and Spurs in our League Cup run.

Sadly not including the AWS final against Carlisle though, nor AFC Marine.

Interesting stats and of the last 8 we have won four and lost four so does that indicate we are getting better?
