League One leaders Rotherham stretched their unbeaten run to 15 games but were made to fight all the way as Covid-hit Oxford, who were missing 13 players, held them to a bore draw. Nobody had this spot-on, but 6 did get the outcome.
SHREWSBURY TOWN 1 CHARLTON ATHLETIC 0
Daniel Udoh's 93d-minute winner lifted Shrewsbury out of the League One drop zone to end Charlton's six-match unbeaten run. Well done to TheFatGooner for being the only one to get this spot-on, and 2 more had the outcome. 23 predicted a win for Charlton.
SALFORD CITY 2 OLDHAM ATHLETIC 0
A routine win for Salford over managerless Oldham. A magnificent 7 had this spot-on, and another 17 got the outcome.
An improvement on recent 6 game weeks, but that is not saying a lot, as 3 pointers were still hard to come by. The week was saved from bing another disaster thanks to the Salford 2-0, that produced nearly half of the weeks 3 pointers and total points. Another two 1-0's this week has now made that result the one we have had most of this season with 15, one ahead of 1-1 and 2-2. Going 1-0 all games last week proved to be a great success for TheFatGooner, so he gave it another go this week, and it turned out to be a good decision again, as he got those two 3 pointers, and one outcome to give him a decent 7 points. Two more members did well to get two 3 pointers, they were unitedwhites, who had the wins for Birmingham and Salford, and GOSBTS, who had the wins for Villa and Salford. They both also had one outcome to give them a three-way share of being the weeks top scorer with a decent 7 points each.
In the Premier Three outcomes for RSCOSWORTH were enough for him to maintain top spot, but his lead was reduced by a point, as the top scoring performance for the second week running, has moved TheFatGoomer up a couple of places into second. A solitary outcome for mfb_cufc, drops him a place to third. Getting the Salford 2-0 spot-on moves basher2010 back into the final Super Cup place, after a week away. The top scoring performance from unitedwhites moves him back into the top half. After going 8 weeks without a 3 pointer sevebalo finally gets one with the Birmingham 1-0, but drops into the bottom half for the first time this season. Things continue to to remain interesting in the fight to avoid being relegated. Having the Salford 2-0 spot-on helped move concordman up a couple of places, into eighth, to equal his season high position last achieved in Week 1. Wheras Sector4 droppped to a season low ninth. After finally getting out of the bottom three for the first time this season last week, Blue4U2 fired a blank this week, and drops back to the bottom again. Having the Birmingham 1-0 spot-on moved ghughes11 up a place, but not quite enough to get him out of the relegation zone.
In Division One Four outcomes for blueeagle meams he returns to the summit. A poisition he held for one week in Week 8. This is the result of an excellent run of form that has seen him rise from eighth only three weeks ago. Only one outcome for Lewis_1, but it was enough for to cling onto the other automatic spot, but only on the most 3 pointer rule from Pinault_Noir. The other three play-off places remain the same as last week with wessex_exile having the Salford 2-0 spot-on, MrHappy2 getting four outcomes, and gerry_us having the Villa 2-1 spot-on. The top scoring performance from GOSBTS moved him up four places, and getting the Birmingham 1-0 spot-on moved BFG up a place, to keep them both within in sight of the play-offs. Having that Bolton 2-2 spot-on didn't improve the position for burnsieespana, but kept him in contention for a play-off place. At the bottom oxfcolu and bwildered both got the Salford 2-0 spot-on, to improve their chances of avoiding the wooden spoon.
Happy Midweek League Cup A busy period for this competition at the moment. with the next round of games starting next Tuesday 30th November, followed by another round of games on Tuesday 7th December.
