Thanks Hayden and Alex 23:51 - Jan 19 with 554 viewswessex_exile

Because it deserves a thread of its own, I just think it's important to thank Hayden Mullins and Alex Dyer for all they have done for Colchester United. Results haven't worked out, and football is a results business, but I have no doubt you are decent chaps and tried your hardest for our club.

Thank you for that, and I wish you both every success in wherever your football journey next takes you!

Thank you both for being a specialist in failure. We have got a squad that should be at least mid-table, but your poor team selection and tactics have put us on the brink of non-league. The fans of Oldham and Scunthorpe will be very disappointed you have been sacked.

Cowling had to do it, but surely now the focus is on Humes?

Who on earth will want to manage this ex-Ipswich Dads Army whilst reporting to Humes? Tisdale evidently wouldn't and I suspect that Paul Cook won't either given he showed them no respect and gave all the exit door from Portman Road. Cook would want to make a dozen signings, just as he did at Ipswich, when little budget is available.

See the light Robbie, get rid of Humes, then we have a chance of recruiting a quality team manager.

I don't wish either of them ill but they were tactically inept and were given every chance of improving the team and I suspect they still don't know their best XI.

Humes sadly is safer than Klopp and Guardiola and there is the problem. RC will never get rid of him.

All we can do is to get right behind Wilson, Keppel and Betty this weekend and hope that it is the U's doing the sand dance at Moor Road on Saturday afternoon.

Well said Wessex but had to happen as don't think they could ever settle on a team and this must have been an issue.
We must st move on because on paper we have a good side but many good sides have been relegated because of poor management.
We must get behind WB and in particular Jo D as he may have learned a lot since leaving us of his own free will!
