Looks like Lewis Richardson is the only British boxer still standing. Good to see his family celebrating a narrow victory today. 😊😊 And he wanted to be a footballer originally.

Quarter final is on Saturday I believe. He gave Colchester a mention in his post fight interview on the BBC.

Light-middleweight Lewis Richardson secured at least a bronze medal for Team GB at the Paris Olympics by beating Zeyad Eashash to reach the semi-finals.
The southpaw, 25, dropped to his knees after securing a split decision victory over his Jordanian opponent.

Guaranteed a medal of some sort now . Has done the himself and the City proud.
Let’s hope the club gives him an invite to Community Stadium to show his achievement to all.

Not an expert but ….
Hard fought and open contest, behind on the first round, more proactive and precise in the second.
Final round was a tight affair which could have go either way.

Still a fine effort , only GB boxer to win a bout, let alone a medal .
Done yourself, support team and City proud .
