Soft goals to let in, Clarke-Salter not showing enough strength for second and Hamer should not of been beaten at the near post. That’s the negatives out the way as we had far more positives. Created lots of opportunities, quality balls into the box today. Lots of good performances today but MOM today Chair | | | | |

| Hull Reflection on 17:25 - Nov 22 by StreathamRanger | Chair was fantastic. Credit to Dembele too who was much better today. Varane sorted himself out in the second half and played well. New keeper an absolute must in January. Their keepers save from Kolli was outstanding |
Varane still did/does that incredibly annoying thing of getting the ball in advanced midfield, then revolving indecivsiely and passing back or giving it short to the side. (It happened once in the second half, to an audible groan, including mine). He still have plenty of work to do to improve, and his coaches should be hard on him, as he has most of the tools. Morgan was really good at right-back when he came on, and Jimmy is clearly now much better off in central defence, with a fabulous goal to top it off. Chair ran the show, and scored. Burrell never stopped, scored one, and should have scored/created another for Kone. JCS was not great, but is back, and hopefully can now make up for lost time. Shooting aside, Dembele played like a man possessed/transformed - long may it continue. Kone is still a bit out of sorts, but will hopefully come back into them. I still want to see both Saito and Smyth starting, but yesterday the proof of the pudding as in the eating, and it was hats off to everyone. [Post edited 23 Nov 19:22]

There was one instance towards the end of the game when we countered on Hull with Varane in possession and advancing, with Kolli and Burrell breaking at speed either side of him. All he had to do was to at least attempt to play one of them in early, but no, held on too long for one of those now customary 180 degree turns to take place and face our goal. I like the lad, but he isn't better than San Field, for mine. Would just like to add what a good player Giles was for Hull. I, personally don't blame JCS for their second goal. That whipped delivery from Giles was perfection and made their on-rushing striker favourite to win that header and score. Giles delivered the other cross that led to the excellent point blank, instinctive save from Hamer towards the end of the game. Great character shown by the R's. Please just try and play with the same intensity that was in evidence for much of the second-half, in the next two games and we stand a good chance of picking up at least one victory.
