Flanagan sadly would be a certainty, and I'm wouldn't be surprised if we let Bishop go, but I'd be amazed if we didn't at least try and keep Macey?

Three decent professionals that have served us well and deserve our thanks.
Flanagan would be understandable in light of his age and his nasty injury. We would miss Bishop at his best, but I think his whole career has been a bit hit and miss, so we can probably get just as good or hopefully better if need be.
As for Macey, he might not be the best keeper we have ever had, but are we going to get better! I would be much happier if he stayed. [Post edited 7 May 10:40]

The uncertainty around the club cannot help at all, especially the potential future meddling with regard to coaching.
Are you going to sign for two years with DC/NC when they could be pushed out before Christmas through no fault of their own?

I agree, I thought Fin Back looked pretty decent in the few games I saw him play. I guess one of the reasons he didn't play as much was down to Rob Hunt. I'd be happy with either, but they'll probably have to take a pay cut to join us? | |

DC does talk some shite at times. If he shat himself at a wedding he would have some positive spin lined up.
All the players agents would have been on the case for weeks trying to get better deals elsewhere. There are no secrets. We have very little money, so we are going to be last in line as usual.
Clubs that do their business early are obviously at an advantage come the start of the season, whereas ten games in and we'll still be hearing 'it takes time for the new players to gel'. | | | |
